Fellies and Belts in Jičín

As we expected during preparation of the first and second years, even our country we can find quite a few vehicles born in the beginning of the last century. Moreover, many of them are in a condition we could envy them. However, since we try to improve our meetings every year, we decided to enlist our August veteran drive for cars up to 1918 and belt-driven motorcycles to the FIVA meeting serial and provide conditions for foreign participants.

The Rims and Belts cruise in Jičín is the first and the biggest meeting for the specified vehicle category in the Czech Republic. It is a unique opportunity to air these vintage vehicles, sweep out spiders from their exhaust pipes and cure their tyre sores. Throughout the whole weekend, the owners will surely be rewarded for their years of good care by content purring or puffing of the driving gear.

The organizers provide appropriate services and grounds for both vehicles and their drivers - not only before the start and after reaching the destination, but throughout the whole journey.
 
Therefore, if you like driving through beautiful surroundings, talking with allied souls, enjoying good food and drinks, do not hesitate and reserve the weekend from 6th to 8th August 2010 for the Felly and Belts meeting in Jičín.
 
The whole meeting is considered a leisure time with the base in Rumcajs campsite in Jičín. Drives will be common, the pace is up to the vehicles themselves. There will be accompanying cars along the route, mobile service and refreshment all along the journey. The length is approximately 40 km a day. The meeting will be started with the short Friday night drive again. Of course, with illumination by historical gas head lamps. On Saturday and Sunday, we will visit important sights of the Czech Paradise. Do not hesitate and register as soon as you can - to save troubles with accommodation arrangements.

The meeting is organized for cars manufactured up to 1918 and belt-driven motorcycles with no age restrictions. We do not accept replicas and transformations!
 
Accommodation is provided in cottages in the campsite. Area for caravans and accompanying vehicles is available. Upon agreement, we can arrange accommodation in a guesthouse or hotel. For night parking of vintage vehicles, an area guarded by a security agency will be available.
